    Palmetto bug facts

Pete insisted we include these. He’s very proud of his family.

    • “Palmetto bug” is a Florida nicknameMost of the time it means the American cockroach, Periplaneta americana, one of the biggest roaches that come indoors.
    • They can flyShort, clumsy flights and glides, usually when it’s warm. Pete says it’s more of a hop with commitment.
    • They love warm, damp placesMulch beds, drains, garages and attics. That’s why we start outside, where they get in.

    Go on, ask him something.

Or skip the small talk and book a visit.
